Sente Technologies, also known as Bally Sente Inc., was an arcade game company founded in 1983 by Nolan Bushnell after acquiring Videa. It was known for its modular arcade system, the SAC-I, which allowed operators to easily swap games.
History
1982Videa was founded by ex-Atari employees Roger Hector, Howard Delman, and Ed Rotberg.
1983Nolan Bushnell acquired Videa, rebranded it as Sente Technologies, and made it a division of Pizza Time Theatre.
1984Bally Manufacturing acquired Sente Technologies for $3.9 million, renaming it Bally Sente. The company ceased operations in 1988.
