2021Producer Kazutoki Kono announced that Bandai Namco Entertainment and ILCA commenced development of a new Ace Combat game.
2022Bandai Namco Aces was established on June 1, 2022, as a joint venture between Bandai Namco Entertainment (51%) and ILCA (49%), with the sole objective of working on new Ace Combat games.
2025In December, ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE was announced at The Game Awards.
