Bird Studio is a manga and design production studio founded by Akira Toriyama. It is primarily known for creating the Dragon Ball series and was born out of Toriyama's desire to maintain independence. Toriyama himself handles most of the work, excluding backgrounds, and has contributed his unique style to game designs.
History
1983Founded by Akira Toriyama in Nagoya following the success of the Dr. Slump series.
1980s: Production and serialization of the Dragon Ball manga.
Post-1990s: In addition to Dragon Ball, produced various one-shot manga and game design work.
