Alexey Pajitnov is a Russian and American computer engineer and video game designer, best known as the creator of the iconic puzzle game Tetris. He has designed numerous other puzzle games throughout his career, including titles for Microsoft.
History
1985Created Tetris while working at the Dorodnitsyn Computing Centre in Moscow.
1991Moved to the United States and co-founded AnimaTek.
1996Co-founded The Tetris Company and joined Microsoft as a staff game designer.
