Alternative Software Ltd is a long-established, leading independent publisher, developer, and distributor of multi-format games, edutainment, and creative software titles since 1985. They have produced and published classic games and best-selling sports management series.
History
1985Alternative Software began operations when Roger Hulley released "Henry's Hoard" for the Sinclair Spectrum computer.
Late 1980s - Early 1990s: The company published over a hundred games, primarily for 8-bit computers in the budget market, and expanded its catalogue by obtaining rights to re-release games from other publishers.
1989Began producing titles centered around popular children's television characters like Postman Pat, Count Duckula, and Fireman Sam.
