Celestial Command was originally intended as a learning project to gain game development experience, with the goal of eventually creating a much more ambitious dream space simulator. The development of the game is completely paused for an indefinite period of time, but it is not abandoned completely.
History
2014-11-20Celestial Command launched into Early Access.
Later: The development team fell into the 'feature creep' trap, attempting to implement numerous features, some of which remained incomplete.
Present: Game development is completely paused indefinitely, but the intention is to return to it in the future for a proper 1.0 release.
