In ISOLATE, players assume the role of an individual driven by financial need to partake in a secret biological experiment. The core gameplay involves surviving a 'game' within an expansive cellar for two weeks, fending off numerous 'Entities'. The narrative poses questions about the nature of these entities and the identity of the figure awaiting at the cellar's summit. Each floor introduces unique 'Extra Entities' that alter the environment and assist other creatures in their assaults. As players ascend through the cellar, their skills will improve, but they will also encounter more formidable entities and increased difficulty, presenting a continuous series of challenging trials.
