Detailed Description
Dreadwoods Gatekeeper will have 4–5 hours of gameplay, featuring a gatekeeping job simulator, a mystery-thriller story with many characters and layers, and a touch of bow combat that you’ll master alongside the protagonist.
You arrive in the small town of Dreadwoods to take on the job of gatekeeper. The previous guard was killed, the townsfolk cling to strange superstitions, barricading their homes at the sound of the Minster bell, and new rumors of a monster lurking in the woods are spreading.
Gameplay includes:
Managing the gatehouse: Talk with townsfolk, open the gate, inspect trading wagons and their documents, grant or deny entry, and handle maintenance duties.
Story: Get familiar with the town and its inhabitants. Make friends or enemies. Dreadwoods is a small, isolated town lagging behind the rest of civilization, holding many secrets and silly superstitions.
Patrolling: The protagonist is no great warrior, but as he finds himself patrolling the forest perimeter, he'll have to master the bow to protect himself and others.
