Frogger (Bearsoft)

One of the two unofficial Frogger clones released to the platform, Frogger is an arcade game about guiding frogs across busy roads and dangerous rivers. The player must dodge vehicles, leap between moving logs and turtles, and avoid predators such as alligators in order to reach the safe home slots at the top of the screen. The player controls a frog with directional movement across the screen. The lower section is a road filled with lorries and racing cars that must be avoided. The upper section is a river crossed by leaping onto logs and turtles, some of which may sink. Additional hazards include alligators and other obstacles. Points are scored for progress, successful crossings, and bonuses such as collecting fruit or mystery items. A time limit adds pressure to each attempt. The objective is to guide all frogs into their homes at the top to complete a round.
