In BrokenLore: DON’T LIE, step into the fragile world of Junko, a young woman attempting to reconnect with Shinji and Hideo, two patients she once met in a rehabilitation center. Confined to her small apartment, she struggles between daily calls, fleeting moments of intimacy, and her own destructive compulsions. Her reliance on medication slowly unravels reality itself, leading her into warped visions and liminal spaces where nothing remains stable.

Gameplay Features

Fantasy Boy

Junko plays a retro side-scroller called Fantasy Boy to calm herself.
These playable segments are directly integrated into the experience.

At first innocent and nostalgic, they eventually merge with her reality in unsettling ways, colliding with the hyper-realistic world and turning it into something grotesque.

Through Junko’s eyes alone, you drift between suffocating everyday life and distorted hallucinations, where glitches, mutations, and whispers of unseen eyes follow you at every step.

Every glance in the mirror might reveal something new.

Every word spoken might alter the fragile balance.

Every lie brings you closer to what you fear most.
