Nippon Oozumou Kakutouhen
Officially licensed by the Japan Sumo Association, Nippon Oozumou Kakutouhen is the PlayStation 2's first grappling title dedicated to the sport of Sumo Wrestling. Boasting more than 700 real-world fighters (including Musashimaru, Takanohana, and Akebono) Oozumou enables its players to create their own alter ego and send them on a quest to be come the Yokozuna Grand Champion. The animations were created thanks to the motion-captured cooperation of actual JSA competitors, and several different game modes (including exhibition and career) are available for diehard sumo fans.
