Seven Kingdoms II: The Fryhtan Wars is a hybrid that falls somewhere between conventional combat-heavy real-time strategy games and more complex civilization-building games. Trade elements, research, diplomacy, race balance, fantastic monsters, mysticism, resource management, construction, expansion, and combat all figure into the mix. The player gets to choose from among 12 nationalities to command, each with distinct features and behaviors relevant to the respective cultures.
