Citadels: Shadow City is a strategic turn-based card game of city-building, hidden roles, and deception. Set in a dark fantasy medieval world, players compete to become the Master Builder by constructing the most impressive and wealthy city before their rivals.

Trust No One

Each round, players secretly draft a character role-such as the cunning Spy, the wealthy Guildmaster, the ruthless Inquisitor, or the unpredictable Alchemist. Your chosen role grants you a powerful special ability to gather extra resources, protect your districts, or completely sabotage your rivals.

But beware-other players are also hiding their true intentions! You must deduce who drafted which role, outwit your opponents, and strike at the perfect moment.

Build Your Empire

Use your hard-earned gold to construct various districts in your city. Balance your economy by building Trade markets, Religious abbeys, Military fortresses, and Science academies. Be the first to build 8 districts to trigger the end of the game, but remember: the ultimate winner is the player whose city has the highest total value and best category synergies!
