Rivals of the Crown
Change the balance of power with two new characters. The Puppeteer gives the Crown to a rival, then takes gold and a district card. The Marshal purchases an enemy district and immediately builds it in his own city.
Detailed Description
Power is never given freely.
Rivals of the Crown introduces two new playable characters with abilities focused on manipulation, political control, and territorial conquest.
The Puppeteer replaces the Chancellor. He gives the Crown to another player, takes 1 gold, and steals a random district card from their hand. If their hand is empty, he draws a card from the deck instead.
The Marshal replaces the Diplomat. He can take a built district from an opponent by paying its owner 1 gold more than the district’s cost. The captured district is immediately built in the Marshal’s city without preventing normal construction that turn.
Control the Crown. Expand your city. Turn your rivals’ strength against them.
