Vs. Super Mario Bros.
Mario (or Luigi) sets out on a quest to free the Mushroom Princess Toadstool from the evil King Koopa and restore the fallen kingdom of the Mushroom People. The player character moves from left to right over a horizontally scrolling terrain. Avoid obstacles, destroy enemies by jumping on them, collect coins and power-ups and reveal several hidden items throughout the various levels. VS. Super Mario Bros. is a two-player VS. System version of Super Mario Bros. which was released in 1986. This game has higher gameplay difficulty than the original Super Mario Bros., with fewer warp zones and power-ups, and more enemies. Six new levels were created for the game,[2] all of which were reused in Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. Fire Mario is now more yellowish, much like his sprite in Super Mario Bros. 3, instead of being colored red and white.
