Robotron
Silversoft's Robotron is a clone of Robotron: 2084, itself a shooter set in a single-screen environment where the player controls a lone character fighting waves of hostile robots. The objective is to eliminate all destructible enemies on the screen while avoiding contact and rescuing human survivors for bonus points. Each wave introduces different enemy types, some of which spawn new threats or cannot be destroyed, increasing the difficulty as the game progresses. The player moves with one set of controls and fires in various directions using either keyboard input or joystick, depending on the hardware setup. Players lose a life upon enemy contact, and the game restarts at the beginning of the current level.
