At the Galaxy Spring 2026 Showcase, Envar Games announced that the Steam Early Access release date for the open world cooperative adventure 'Witchspire' will be June 10, 2026. Witchspire is a game where you fight against the corruption that is encroaching on the world with fellow witches, and it involves exploration and growth using magic, and the process of uncovering the secrets of the world.

In the early access version, you can experience various magical abilities and systems in two biomes. You travel through the open world using means of transportation such as broom flying, spirit jumping, and blinking, and in battle, you use magic swords, staffs, spell scrolls, and spell books according to the situation. It is also possible to call allies to fight together with summoning magic. Survival elements are also included so you can enjoy activities such as crafting, farming, logging, and mining, and environmental transformation that uses magic to cultivate an entire forest has also been implemented.

Character growth is centered around the Cosmic Luminaries tech tree, and unique appearances and passive bonuses are given depending on the witch group selected at the start. Through the creature collection system, you can make enemies into familiars and have them participate in battle, and it is also fun to find rare objects. You can play solo or in online co-op, and it is also possible to set up a haven, a common base, with your colleagues. Thanks to the astral projection movement system, you can freely design and manage your base without complex structures.

Envar Entertainment is an art outsourcing and co-development studio established in 2020 and is comprised of veteran developers who have participated in projects from major game companies such as Riot Games, Blizzard, and Tencent. Envar Games, based in Stockholm, Sweden, is developing its own IP with the goal of AA level completion, and Witchspire is its first work.
