It has been confirmed that 'Vindictus Defying Fate', which is being developed by CAG Studio under Nexon, will be released in F2P.

At the AMA (Ask Me Anything) held today (21st), Director Dong-seok Oh, who is in charge of development, announced that Vindictus Defying Fate will be released in F2P.

Regarding the decision to launch F2P, Director Oh Dong-seok said, "It took a lot of time to decide how to provide the game. After much consideration, we decided on F2P so that many people can experience the game without feeling burdened. In terms of BM, we are working to focus on customization."

In addition, regarding questions about the story as it switches to F2P, he said, "As the game is being serviced as F2P, the story will not be released all at once, but will unfold sequentially through regular updates. We plan to refer to Mabinogi Heroes Season 1, but it will not be completely the same and Vindictus Defying Fate will have its own charm."

Meanwhile, Vindictus Defying Fate, which has decided to launch F2P this time, is a PC and console game based on the Mabinogi Heroes IP. It is being developed with the aim of entering the global market with various heroes, monsters, and settings that appeared in Mabinogi Heroes, and it was confirmed in the recent Nexon CMB that it is aiming for release in 2027.
