Nexon (Co-CEOs Dae-Hyeon Kang and Jeong-Wook Kim) announced on the 12th that its in-house daycare center, ‘Acorn Picnic Nexon Daycare Center’, will hold a large-scale family event with approximately 800 students and employees’ families participating in celebration of Family Month in May.

On the 9th, Acorn Picnic Pangyo-Daechiwon invited about 600 children, parents, siblings, and others to the Dongseoul University Indoor Gymnasium to hold a 'Spring Sports Day.' Participating children had time to build bonds with family and friends through various physical activities such as climbing Taesan, tug-of-war, and flag battles.

In addition to physical activities, at the site, mini sports such as hookball and curling, and experiential programs such as DIY making of key rings and mirrors were operated, providing colorful memories to families. On the 16th, an event with the same concept will be held at the Jeju Tourism University gymnasium for about 200 Acorn Picnic Jejuwon families.

Acorn Picnic Nexon Daycare Center values the value of ‘family-linked parenting’ and regularly holds large-scale events in which parents participate together every year. This is a result that reflects Nexon's unique welfare philosophy that families, daycare centers, and companies jointly raise children.

Currently, Nexon operates five daycare centers, including Pangyo (Sun, Moon, Star), Daechi, and Jeju, to help employees balance work and family. In particular, Acorn Picnic Jejuwon is recognized externally for its excellent quality of childcare, including winning the Minister of Education's Award for Excellence in a contest hosted by the Korea Federation of Childcare Centers last year.
