On the 24th, Gen.G Esports secured a 2-0 victory over DN Supers in the second round of the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season, held at LoL Park in Jongno. In both sets, Gen.G managed to secure double kills via bottom lane dives before the 4-minute mark, allowing them to cruise to victory without any significant trouble.
The first set went to Gen.G Esports. Starting off on a high note by securing two kills through an early bottom lane dive, Gen.G also scored heavily in a top-side skirmish, creating a meaningful gap early on. By the 13-minute mark, the gold lead had already reached 5,000. While DN Supers managed to counter some of Gen.G's aggressive plays, the deficit was already too large to overcome. Gen.G Esports maintained their relentless offensive, extending their lead to 10,000 gold before destroying the Nexus to close out the first set.
The second set began in a similar fashion, with Gen.G Esports pulling off a 4-minute bottom lane dive to pick up two kills. This time, however, DN Supers responded quickly. They sent 'DuDu' Lee Dong-ju’s Sion and 'Clozer' Lee Ju-hyeon’s Akali to the bottom lane to take down 'Duro' Joo Min-gyu’s Milio. Although they were trailing in CS across all lanes, they managed to catch 'Canyon' Kim Geon-bu’s Maokai once and secured two dragon stacks, creating a much better atmosphere than the previous set.
However, around the 20-minute mark, Gen.G Esports successfully contested and denied DN Supers their third dragon. Although 'Chovy' Jeong Ji-hoon’s Annie was caught first in the ensuing team fight, both AD carries—'Kingen' Hwang Seong-hoon’s Vayne and 'Ruler' Park Jae-hyuk’s Lucian—survived until the end to lead their team to victory. The global gold lead ballooned to over 5,000 in an instant. Following a series of successful engagements, Gen.G Esports pushed in with the Baron buff and closed out the second set without any upsets.
