The 2nd CBT schedule for ‘Horizon Hunters Gathering’, which is being developed by Guerrilla Games, has been released.
‘Horizon Hunter’s Gathering’ is a spin-off using the IP of the Horizon series that made Guerrilla Games what it is today. As a spin-off, the game differs in many ways from the original Horizon series. The biggest difference is the visuals of the game. Unlike the original Horizon series, which boasted realistic graphics, ‘Horizon Hunters Gathering’ features cartoon-style graphics, giving it a more casual feel compared to the original.
The overall direction of the game is also different. Unlike the original, which was a traditional adventure centered around Aloy, uncovering the world's secrets and confronting threats, 'Horizon Hunter's Gathering' focused more on three-person cooperative action based on a session system.
Unlike the original, where Aloy was the sole protagonist, ‘Horizon Hunters Gathering’ has several hunters, so-called playable characters. Players must choose one of the hunters, each with different weapons and skills, form a team of up to three people, and become humanity's last bastion against deadly machines that threaten their lives while avoiding an increasingly narrow magnetic field.
Another feature of the game is the roguelike system. Apart from permanent growth, it is expected to provide a unique fun of growth every time by allowing you to strengthen your abilities at the end of each battle.
‘Horizon Hunters Gathering’, which conducted the first CBT from February 27 to March 1, is currently recruiting testers for the second CBT. The second CBT schedule is from May 22nd to 25th and will be held through PC (Steam) and PS5. You can apply to participate in the test by registering for the PlayStation beta program, and if you are selected as a tester, you will be given a friend invitation code to invite your friends to the test.
Other detailed information related to the 2nd CBT can be found in the announcement on the ‘Horizon Hunters Gathering’ Steam store page.
