Webzen has added the guild PvP content 'Spot Battle' to its MMORPG 'R2 Origin'. The spot battle is a content that inherited the spot battle of the original 'R2', and is conducted in a way that several guilds compete for key bases.
The spot competition is held every Sunday evening from 8 PM to 9 PM for an hour, and any guild above a certain level can participate. A guardian stone is created in the contested area, and the occupying guild must protect it. When the guardian stone is destroyed, a core appears, and if the core is destroyed, the guild master can attempt to engrave it.
If the defense is successful for 15 minutes after the engraving is completed, the occupation of the spot is confirmed. When you occupy a spot, you can receive different buff effects depending on the region, and as you successfully occupy the spot every week, the buff ability is strengthened, giving you an advantage in both field hunting and PvP. There are multiple contested areas throughout Colport Island, the game background, and you can enjoy battles with Unreal Engine 5-based graphics.
