The Korean version of the science fiction adventure game 'BatteryNote', published by room6, has been officially released on Steam. Development was handled by 72studio, and it was said that this Korean language support was done in response to the support of fans.
The game's setting is simple yet unique. The player who wakes up from cold sleep is faced with three robots with dead batteries and on the verge of failure. The player, who holds the charging outlet and switch in hand, spends a short time with the robot, waking it up and talking to it, or applying high-voltage current to see its reaction. With battery life running out, it's up to the player to decide how to use those last moments.
There are three types of robots that appear. The main characters are 'Jessica', a playful robot who worked at a diner, 'Divine R7', a soldier robot who wonders why he is here when he should have blown himself up on the battlefield, and 'Serbury', a sinister yet friendly person who was in charge of office surveillance. Each robot has its own story, and you can look into its memories through conversation.
Depending on the player's attitude, the robot's reaction changes and the final outcome also changes. You can play it multiple times to see all endings, or you can just aim to make the robot happy. Developer 72studio is an individual creator who works on the entire scenario, programming, visual, and sound process alone in parallel with his main job, and is also developing 'DRINKRIME' with room6.
