This exhibition is being held at 'The Senses,' an immersive concept room located in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. It provides an integrated sound experience harmonized with light and scent, linked to the 'Emotional Modes' of MB.OS, Mercedes-Benz's next-generation infotainment operating system. Having long supplied premium audio for Mercedes-Benz flagship vehicles, Burmester aims to extend its sound philosophy beyond the automotive cabin into everyday lifestyle living spaces through this collaboration.

Berlin-based high-end audio brand Burmester is showcasing its signature home audio systems at 'Mercedes-Benz Studio Seoul,' a complex cultural space that opened in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on May 19 to commemorate the 140th anniversary of the birth of the automobile by Mercedes-Benz. The Seongsu-dong studio is the fifth global location to open worldwide and serves as an open pop-up space where visitors can encounter the heritage and future vision of Mercedes-Benz.
This collaboration was made possible by placing Burmester's flagship lineup within 'The Senses,' a sensory experience space powered by MB.OS, the next-generation vehicle operating system from Mercedes-Benz. In this space, Burmester plays the role of completing an immersive environment where sight, sound, and smell work in unison, going beyond simple product display.
Burmester is a long-standing partner that has integrated its premium sound systems into major Mercedes-Benz flagship vehicles such as the S-Class, EQS, and Mercedes-Maybach. While Burmester’s audio luxury was previously limited to the confines of a vehicle cabin, this exhibition is significant in that it has transferred that experience into the urban daily life and home lifestyle spaces outside the car.
In particular, the concept room featuring Burmester audio is linked to the 'Emotional Modes' feature of MB.OS, which optimizes the driver's environment by integrated control of lighting, sound, and scent within Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Much like how gamers or general users enhance immersion by synchronizing RGB lighting and sound in PC and console environments, this space is designed to maximize sensory resonance and immersion by extending the vehicle's next-generation infotainment control technology to the scale of the entire room.

The hardware at the heart of the exhibition is a combination of Burmester's floorstanding speaker 'B38' and integrated amplifier '032'.
The 'Burmester B38 speaker' features sophisticated acoustic design, cabinets finished by hand by artisans in the Berlin workshop, and a chrome panel exterior. It reduces sound distortion and realizes a three-dimensional soundstage, providing the listener with a sense of space free from coloration.
The 'Burmester 032 integrated amplifier' is a product that embodies the technology of the Burmester Classic Line. With its stable driving power, it reproduces even the finest details of input signals without loss. It balances the performance and musical potential of the B38 speakers, helping to restore the very atmosphere of the recording site as close to the original as possible.

A representative from Sori Shop, which handles Burmester products in Korea, stated, "This exhibition is a place that intuitively shows the role Burmester sound plays within the emotional brand experience of Mercedes-Benz," adding, "The combination of these two products will complete the sound experience of 'The Senses' space and deliver profound musicality."
Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Benz Studio Seoul in Seongsu-dong operates as an open pop-up that anyone can visit freely, and the exhibition space and brand programs can be accessed through on-site visits or advance reservations.
