Nexon announced on the 2nd that it will hold its game development knowledge-sharing event, 'Nexon Developers Conference (NDC 26),' on the 16th.
51 out of 51 sessions focus on AI... 'NDC 26' main lineup revealed

This year's event will begin with a welcome address by Lee Jung-heon, CEO of Nexon Japan, and will cover topics across the entire development spectrum, including game planning, programming, visual art and sound, and production. Trends and global case studies in artificial intelligence (AI), IP, and blockchain will also be introduced.
A key feature of this year's event is the presentation of eight panel discussion sessions. In the session 'Developing Different Games Simultaneously,' Park Yong-hyun, CEO of Nexon Games, will participate to share leadership insights for new project development. In the session 'Making the Games I Wanted to Play,' Kim Yong-ha, PD at Nexon Games, and Kim Ji-hoon, CEO of Project Moon, will share their planning know-how, while Tynan Sylvester, creator of 'RimWorld,' will present on game world-building and player interaction.
Panel discussions on AI and data will also be held. Kim Tae-hoon, CTO of Love&War, and Lee Yong-wook, Director at Nexon, will discuss organizational growth strategies, while Kang Duk-won, Head of Nexon Headquarters, and Lim Kyung-young, VP at Krafton, will share their respective companies' AI transformation processes and achievements. Ryu Cheong-hoon and Bae Jun-young, Heads of Nexon Headquarters, and Lim Jin-sik, General Manager of Snowflake Korea, will cover data-driven decision-making cases. Additionally, discussions among sound experts from Neople, Nexon Games, and Nexon Korea, as well as a session featuring Chae Jeong-won, Head of Nexon Headquarters, and YouTuber Kim Seong-hoe, are scheduled.
Out of the 51 total sessions this year, 15 are focused on AI-related topics. Embark Studios, the developer of 'Arc Raiders,' will share their experiences and achievements in applying machine learning to actual game development. Sessions will cover the application of generative AI from world-building to scenario writing, and a development case study of introducing a natural language AI agent to a game data analysis platform will be presented.
Ryu Eun-young, Head of Nexon's Talent Strategy Division, stated, "This year's NDC will be an opportunity to witness firsthand how the AI trend is being integrated into the forefront of game development through the vivid voices of practitioners," adding, "In particular, we have prepared a wide range of panel discussions with industry experts to provide deep insights."
