Square Enix released additional detailed information about its new action RPG ‘The Thousand Year Story of Adventurer Elliot’ today (17th).

The Age of Magic, which was introduced in focus this time, was a time when mankind enjoyed remarkable prosperity based on advanced magic technology. The magical country of Weizen developed around the Fotherwall Research Institute, which pursues new magic technology, and the Formanit Research Institute, which pursues magic that enriches human life. However, a devastated world awaits at the end of this splendid prosperity, and players must investigate the cause of fate that began to go astray somewhere in this era.

The main characters introduced are Fausta, the director of the Formanit Research Institute, Mani, the researcher, Hildebrand, the director of the Fotherwall Research Institute, and Icarus, the leading nobleman who has ruled Weizen for generations. Fausta is a knowledgeable woman who is deeply trusted by her subordinates, and Marnie is a researcher with deep knowledge of mechanical engineering and sympathizes with Fausta's ideology and follows her path. Hildebrand is a realist who rose to the position of director at a young age with outstanding research capabilities, and Icarus maintains a cooperative relationship with Fausta, concerned about the situation at the Fotherwall Institute, which continues its research despite risks.

The game system provides strategic battles based on 7 types of weapons and magic stone reinforcement. Even if the weapons are of the same type, the performance and power of special moves vary depending on the rarity, and the exploration element of finding powerful weapons hidden throughout the dungeon is emphasized. The higher the rarity of the magic stone, the stronger the performance and the lower the installation cost, allowing for more flexible customization. Additionally, if you clear the mini-game ‘Fay’s Magic Lesson’ that utilizes the magic learned by Fairy Fay, you can obtain a record reward that allows you to enjoy the in-game BGM.
