낙원: 라스트 파라다이스 NAKWON: LAST PARADISE

The development team for NAKWON: LAST PARADISE, a zombie survival game currently being developed by Nexon, has released their May developer Q&A via a Steam announcement.
In this Q&A, the developers revealed that they are reviewing a pet system that would allow players to keep animals like dogs and cats, as well as customization features such as changing the floors and walls of their villa residences. Furthermore, they stated that new infected types are being developed with distinct characteristics and roles, similar to existing special infected, and that suggestions from users—such as ranged attackers or self-destructing types—are being reviewed for introduction in future maps. They added that motion and sound are also being continuously improved to enhance natural movement, spatial awareness, and immersion.
Regarding the idea of using Korean artifacts, such as Joseon-era armor, as rare equipment, the team stated they would consider it if exploration areas like museums are added in the future. They also mentioned that they are considering implementing weather-based special effects through seasonal updates or events after the game's launch. However, they drew a line regarding a permanent first-person perspective toggle, stating there are no plans to introduce it, as they are prioritizing the form that best suits the game's current design direction.
Below is the full text of the May developer Q&A.

Based on pet-related elements in quests, could we see the addition of a system to keep dogs or cats, or the addition of various costumes and items through a pass?
" While not yet finalized, we are currently reviewing the pet system from various angles. The scope and method of implementation are still under discussion, and we will take your feedback into account.

Could action options be added to tidy up or clean the inside of the villa residence early in the game?
" Residence customization features, such as changing floors and walls, are currently under review. We will consider your suggestions as we think about the direction for these improvements.

Could Korean artifacts, such as Joseon-era armor, appear as rare equipment or collectibles in the post-apocalyptic world?
" The idea of using traditional armor as equipment could add a unique charm to the game's world. We will review this if exploration areas like museums are added in the future.

Is there a possibility of adding a special effects system based on weather and environment?
" We are positively reviewing special effects caused by weather. However, rather than at launch, we are considering applying them for specific periods through future seasonal updates or events.

Is there a possibility of adding a first-person perspective toggle?
" Currently, the game is designed to switch to first-person when using firearms. We are not considering a permanent first-person perspective at this time, as we are prioritizing the form that best fits our current gameplay direction and design.

Are there plans to add new types of zombies?
" New infected are currently in development and will be added with distinct characteristics and roles, similar to the existing special infected. We are reviewing various types, including those you suggested, and you can look forward to encountering them in future maps.

Are there plans to improve the quality of motion and sound?
" We are continuously improving our motion and sound. We are refining the movements of both players and the infected to be more natural, and we are also continuing to develop the sound to enhance spatial awareness and immersion.
