'Lee Hwan', a supernatural urban open world RPG developed by Hota Studio under Perfect World, successfully concluded Korea's first offline pop-up event 'Ideal Management Bureau IN Hongdae', which was held for 5 days from April 29th. This event, held to commemorate the official launch, continued to attract visitors throughout the period of operation, exceeding 7,000 people in total.


'Lee Hwan' is a new game that attracted attention for its unique world view and graphics from the beginning of its release. This event was designed as a venue for face-to-face communication between developers and users beyond a simple exhibition. The management team collected user feedback in real time on site and laid the foundation for future service improvement.

The event venue focused on bringing the supernatural presentation, a key element in the game, to reality. Passing through the entrance, the 'Rerorero Phone Booth', visitors were greeted by 'abnormal phenomena' that deviated from common sense, such as a computer hanging from the ceiling, an upside-down wine glass, and a bookshelf. This provided users with a visual experience that made them feel like they were in a real game city.

In the stage area on the second floor, participatory programs such as a voice actor talk show and a racing challenge were held. The stamp tour, which provides photo zones for cosplay recreating in-game characters and special goods, was so popular that long waiting lines formed.

Users who visited the site responded positively to the management's careful preparation. One user who participated in the event said he had no idea he would encounter such a large-scale offline event right after the game was released, and said he felt the management's will to respect users.

Such active communication is expected to contribute to 'Lee Hwan', a latecomer in the subculture-based open world game market, securing an early loyal user base. Perfect World's strategy is to solidify brand awareness in Korea starting with this pop-up event.
