Nexon announced today (the 26th) the planned improvements following the domestic CBT for 'Azur Promilia,' a subculture open-world RPG developed by Manjuu Games and set to be published by Nexon.
'Azur Promilia' is an open-world RPG that follows the journey of the 'Stellaris,' an avatar of the player who descends into the world of Promilia, alongside beautiful girls from various races. Its key selling points include not only charming characters but also the ability to build bonds with mysterious creatures called 'Kibo,' and enjoy high-freedom content such as exploration, combat, and construction.
'Azur Promilia,' which held its first domestic CBT from May 15th to 18th, received praise for its attractive character designs, cute Kibo, fast-paced combat, and well-structured housing system. However, it also faced criticism regarding the difficulty of certain mini-games, desynced character voice lines, awkward translations, and inconvenient UI/UX elements.
In response, Nexon collected user feedback until the 22nd, relayed the issues to the developer, and has now compiled and released a list of planned improvements. First, they will provide guides for mini-games and adjust their difficulty, fix dubbing synchronization and font sizes, and enhance UI/UX convenience for various repetitive tasks. In particular, they plan to further improve control responsiveness by refining custom key settings and gamepad compatibility. Furthermore, they intend to enhance gameplay immersion by conducting a comprehensive review of audio elements, including hit sounds and background music transitions.
Additionally, the developers announced plans to increase the somewhat slow pace of the story progression and provide a better experience by separating the unlock timing and tutorials for different systems, such as housing and combat. Other comprehensive quality-of-life improvements were also mentioned, including the removal of the weekly treasure chest key limit, the addition of a batch equip/unequip feature for gear, the addition of more 'Star Vein' teleport nodes, and adjustments to satiety consumption while riding mounts. Finally, they emphasized their commitment to providing a high-quality localized experience by supporting Korean dubbing and reviewing translation feedback for the official release, promising a comfortable gameplay environment for Korean users.
Further details and information regarding the post-CBT improvements for Azur Promilia can be found on the official community page.
