Once again, the outcome was decided early on. Lee Young-ho easily defended against Park Sang-hyun's 2-Hatchery Zergling and Lurker all-in attack to secure the win.

In the fifth set, Park Sang-hyun opened with an Overpool, while Lee Young-ho opted for a very stable 1-Barracks double. Park managed to sneak Zerglings into the Terran main base, confirming that a Factory was being built.
Instead of a Starport, Lee Young-ho built an additional Factory to prepare Goliaths. Park Sang-hyun chose an all-in strategy, preparing Lurkers while keeping his economy extremely lean and researching Zergling speed. Sensing something was off via his SCV, Lee Young-ho built a bunker at his natural expansion and prepared Siege Tanks and a Comsat Station instead of Goliaths.
Unsure whether to commit to the attack, Park Sang-hyun was forced to go all-in, but he was shut down by Lee Young-ho's solid defense. With this, Lee Young-ho reached match point, leading 3-2 toward the championship.
