Sejong City is a planned city currently under construction in South Korea, with completion scheduled for 2030. The city is the largest planned city in South Korea, named “Multifunctional Administrative City” - think of Canberra (AU), Ottawa (CA) or Brasilia (BR). The city houses (most of) the South Korean national government and 380,000 residents as of 2024. It is aimed to reach 500,000 residents by 2030 according to the plan.

The city follows the "ring" concept proposed by Jean-Pierre Durig and Andres Perea Ortega, featuring an "inner ring" with a fully segregated BRT corridor equipped with underpasses and overpasses, and an "outer ring" with motorways. Additionally, neighbouring cities are placed at the edge of the map to simulate regional traffic.

I originally created this map in 2018 for personal use. While I tried my best to remove my modifications and update the layout to reflect the most recent plans, there are still some parts that are deviant from reality or based on preliminary plans. These are:

- The Southwestern entrance for the busway. After several plan changes and patchworks of cost-cutting measures, they are joined awkwardly at the eastern half of the underground platform in real life. In the map, the entrance is located at the median of the main road, following the original design of the BRT system in 2008 that was never realised.

- The design of Campus Town (cluster of European buildings at the southeastern part of the city) is based on the "Smart Communiversity" proposal by Seung-Woo Lee and Joo-Yeon Chang.
