Big Deez Productions is a new development studio with team members who have worked for publishers ranging from Ubisoft, Namco, EA, Sega, Atari, and Microsoft, and with a select group of developers who have been involved in games such as The Madden series, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Perfect Dark, the Halo franchise, Final Fantasy, and dozens of others. They aim to create games that fans want to see made. They raised funds for the development of Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn through an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign in 2014. This game is a sequel to the 1994 Shaq Fu, and was created to clear the name of the original, which received poor reviews from critics.
