Acclaim Studios Austin was an American video game developer founded in 1991 by Jeff Spangenberg as Iguana Entertainment. It was rebranded as Acclaim Studios Austin in 1999 and ceased operations in 2004 following the bankruptcy of its parent company, Acclaim Entertainment.

1991Jeff Spangenberg founded Iguana Entertainment in Santa Clara, California.
1993The company relocated to Austin, Texas, and acquired Optimus Software Ltd, forming Iguana Entertainment UK.
1995Iguana Entertainment was acquired by Acclaim Entertainment.
1999Iguana Entertainment was rebranded as Acclaim Studios Austin.
2004Acclaim Studios Austin ceased operations due to the bankruptcy of its parent company, Acclaim Entertainment.
