Amusement Vision was an internal Sega studio, founded in 2000, known for creating the 'Super Monkey Ball' and 'Yakuza' series, as well as developing 'F-Zero GX'. The studio merged back into Sega in 2004.
History
2000Established as a semi-autonomous subsidiary of Sega, headed by Toshihiro Nagoshi.
Early 2000s: Developed successful franchises like 'Super Monkey Ball' and collaborated with Nintendo on 'F-Zero GX/AX'.
2004Merged back into Sega, becoming the 'New Entertainment R&D Department', which later evolved into 'Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio'.
