Appaloosa Interactive (formerly Novotrade International) was a corporation founded in Hungary in 1982 that produced video games, computer programs, and television commercials. The company was well known for its 'Ecco the Dolphin' series and developed over 150 video games before ceasing operations in 2006.

1982Founded as Novotrade International in Hungary by András Császár and Stephen J. Friedman.
1989Began operating branches in the United States.
1996Renamed Appaloosa Interactive in November and established headquarters in Mountain View, California.
2006Ceased operations after the release of 'Jaws Unleashed'.
