The Paranoia Complex

The title of this software is already worrying in itself and the fundamental question that arises is the following: is it possible to emerge healthy in body and mind from this game? Only one way to find out: venture into the complex and see what happens... Everything takes place in the Alpha sector which is controlled by the computer and whose artificial underground world had been created a very long time ago to protect yourself against the invasion of extra-terrestrial troops. So the environment around you is nothing but steel, concrete and plastic; not very welcoming and yet, you must not forget that the computer is your friend but it still remains to prove that the converse is true!... You are therefore required to walk around the complex while waiting to undergo small personality tests; the questionnaire is triggered each time you cross a red band. One or more questions follow one another depending on the type of answer you give and if the computer is satisfied with your answers, it gives you small jobs to do which will help you promote yourself as a citizen. In addition, to somewhat reflect the "paranoia" of the game, during your mission, you have certain obligations to fulfill such as eating, going to the toilet, making reports or engaging in gymnastics prescribed by the computer... But, in fact, what is really your mission? It's very simple, it's about successfully escaping the city (easier said than done!). Throughout the game, you have a view from above the complex and you start by gathering material which is viewed in 2 windows located at the top right of the main screen. Then you perform all the tests that regularly come to you; finally, you should know that it is possible to enter all buildings. At this point, the roof disappears revealing the compressed air delivery system; it is in these places that wild chase scenes can take place... The Paranoia Complex is truly a particular piece of software, disturbing in its approach and which reveals good quality graphics.
