Avenger

Avenger is a side scrolling shoot 'em up in which the player controls a fighter jet and must shoot down incoming enemy fighters. The player flies forward and can move the jet with a joystick. The enemies enter the screen from the top along with a scrolling layer of clouds. The player has an afterburner button to increase speed. Depending on the amount of enemies shot down the player receives a rating (crop duster, student pilot, ace or avenger) and bonus play time is awarded.
