Langrisser 3

Langrisser III is a tactical role-playing game developed by Masaya, serving as the third main entry in the series. It introduced 3D character models for combat animations, which was a significant shift from its predecessors. The story follows the protagonist, Diehartz, on his quest to recover the holy sword Langrisser. The game expanded upon the series' dating simulation elements, where the protagonist's relationship with various heroines impacts the narrative. Players must navigate a complex class advancement system and utilize strategic troop management to succeed in battles. As a prequel to the first two games, it provides critical backstory regarding the origin of the Langrisser sword. The game remains a notable title for its experimental transition to 3D and its deep branching storyline.
