‘Storm Maid,’ a maid cafe operation tycoon published by Smilegate and developed by Burger Duck Games (co-CEOs Hee-seok Lee and Seung-jin Noh), will be officially released on the global PC game platform Steam on the 24th (Friday).
‘Storm Maid’ is a business simulation game in which you run and grow a maid cafe based on cute dot graphics. Users manage unique maid characters, expand stores, and create the best maid cafe amid competition.
This game goes beyond simple maid cafe operation and enhances the fun of strategic staff placement and management. Users can experience in-depth play by taking the maid's condition and emotions into consideration, placing them in the right place, and maximizing store operation efficiency.
In addition, the real-life maid cafe culture was faithfully reflected, with dancing and singing following orders of omelet rice and drinks, thereby enhancing the sense of presence. In addition, it also provides a variety of fun activities, such as a mini game where you draw with ketchup and interactive content where you take pictures of Cheki with guests.
Users participate in competitions with the goal of winning the ‘Made Championship’ and grow the cafe through various episodes. Through this system, we completed a play experience that goes beyond simple management and combines character and story.
‘Storm Maid’ received positive responses from users through the demo version previously shown on the stove, and its gameplay was verified. Smilegate plans to showcase the unique bright and cheerful charm of maid cafes to users around the world, including Japan, through this global launch on Steam.
Smilegate is offering a discount to commemorate the global launch of ‘Storm Maid’ on Steam. Detailed information about ‘Storm Maid’ can be found on the Steam and Stove store page.
