The opening cinematic of ‘Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred’ was released through the official channel.

The video begins from the perspective of ‘Neirell’, who sees Mephisto’s nightmare. Neirell, who escaped with Mephisto's soul stone in the main story and the last expansion pack, 'Vessel of Hatred', succeeded in placing Mephisto's soul stone in Akarat's body with the help of the protagonist and Loras Nar, but due to the betrayal of 'Eru', who fell for Mephisto's trick, he ends up witnessing Mephisto being resurrected in Akarat's body.

At the end of the video, while Nairel is researching a way to end Mephisto in his library, Mephisto comes to Nairel, and the two begin a final conversation.

Nayrel mentions 'eclipse' and says that he has seen what Mephisto fears the most and that he will tell everyone about it. Afterwards, Nayrel recite part of Rathma's prophecy and pressure Mephisto, saying that a spear of light will appear and pierce the heart of hatred. Mephisto cannot hold back his momentary anger and finishes off Nayrel on the spot. Nevertheless, the video ends with Narrell succeeding in conveying what he discovered to the main character through Jeon Seo-gu before he meets his end.

In this way, the cinematic conveys to gamers that a way to defeat Mephisto has been discovered prior to the confrontation with Mephisto, which will be the main content of the 'Lord of Hatred' campaign.

'Lord of Hatred' is scheduled to be released on April 28th, and in addition to concluding the long Mephisto narrative, it is highly anticipated due to a number of changes such as an overall reorganization of the skill tree, addition of Horadrim ship, and 'war plan' that organizes end content.
