Sega Publishing Korea announced that it will distribute the free update 'Red (Angry Birds/Angry Birds series)' for 'Sonic Racing Cross World' starting today, April 16th. Through this update, the racer 'Red' and the dedicated machine 'Super Roaster' are added to the game, and three new songs from the 'Angry Birds' series are also included in the jukebox.
The added music is ‘GO! Theme', 'GO! There are three songs in total: ‘Theme 【for Final Lap】’ and ‘Angry Birds Theme’. Among these, 'GO! Theme' and 'GO! You can enjoy 'Theme 【for Final Lap】' by setting it as BGM during the race on the jukebox, but 'Angry Birds Theme' does not support BGM setting during the race.
The collaboration event 'Angry Birds Festa' will be held for a limited time from 9 a.m. on April 17 (Fri) to 8:59 a.m. on April 20 (Mon). The event is divided into three teams and is held in an online race where scores are added up according to ranking, and different special rules are applied for each festival, such as competing for the number of 'touch dashes'. If you collect Festa points during the event period, you can obtain exclusive items such as stickers and horns that can be used to customize the machine.
Meanwhile, the trial version was also updated and a new machine, 'Extreme Gear', was added. In the trial version, you can experience the 'Grand Prix' and 'Time Trial' modes in advance, and you can also customize machines and gadgets. The saved data from the trial version is transferred as is when purchasing the product version.
The trial version can be downloaded for free on PS5, Nintendo Switch, XSX|S, Steam, and Epic Games platforms, and the trial version update only applies to platforms excluding Nintendo Switch.
