Niantic announced that its real-world walking game ‘Pikmin Bloom’ will hold a new regional event ‘Walking Anytime, Pikmin Bloom Tour: Sapporo’.

The newly introduced ‘Walking Anytime’ is content designed to allow people to re-enjoy the trails of live events that have ended in the past. Participants can visit the location on their desired schedule and re-experience past events.

This first Sapporo event will begin on the 27th, and the walking trail will be based on the '2023 Pikmin Bloom Tour: Sapporo' held in 2023. There are a total of 12 special spots along the trail, and participants can receive a special postcard reward by completing the task of swiping at 7 of them.

Participation tickets can be exchanged using 700 coins at the in-game local event portal, and purchased tickets have no separate expiration date, allowing flexible travel plans tailored to the user's personal schedule.

The event is activated when you arrive at the scene and tap the screen around the designated special spot, and once activated, the event will remain until the end of the year.

Additionally, when you participate in the ‘Walk Anytime’ course, you can receive a special local event patch commemorating the area as a reward.

Meanwhile, a global walking party will be held until the 27th where users from all over the world will plant flowers together to celebrate Earth Day. Depending on the cumulative number of flowers planted together, participants can obtain ‘Leaf Hat Deco Pikmin’ large seedlings, ‘Snow Deco Pikmin’ large seedlings, and ‘Gift Sticker (Gold) Deco Pikmin’ large seedlings.
