KB Kookmin Bank has partnered with Devsisters' mobile RPG 'Cookie Run: Kingdom' to host an in-game collaboration event.

Running for approximately six weeks from May 20 to July 1, this event is themed around a "Bank in Game" concept. It is designed as a fusion of finance and gaming, targeting the 90 million cumulative users of 'Cookie Run: Kingdom'.
The core of the collaboration is the opening of the 'KB Kookmin Bank Cookie Run: Kingdom Branch' within the game's social hub, the Square. Users who visit the branch can participate in OX quizzes covering financial literacy basics and tips for preventing voice phishing, with a reward structure modeled after a savings account where in-game currency accumulates based on participation.
All users who log in during the event period will receive specially crafted kingdom decor items and 'My Cookie' icing items as daily attendance rewards. The barrier to entry is low, as these rewards can be obtained simply by logging in.
Furthermore, additional benefits are available to both new and existing members of 'KB Star Teens,' a financial platform for children and teenagers, and 'KB Youth Club,' a service dedicated to customers in their 20s. These benefits include 3,000 Crystals, 1,500 Rainbow Cubes, and one exclusive special item.
Detailed participation methods and schedules can be found on KB Kookmin Bank's YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok channels, as well as the official 'Cookie Run: Kingdom' Naver Cafe and YouTube channel. A representative from KB Kookmin Bank stated, "We hope this collaboration serves as an opportunity for our Youth customers to encounter finance within the game, and we will continue to expand our communication methods to better align with the perspectives of the younger generation."
