Cosmos Entertainment (CEO Ho-hyung Lee) announced on the 15th that it will conduct a large-scale update in the southern Manchurian region on the new server ‘Cheongeum’ of the authentic classic MMORPG ‘Online Romance of the Three Kingdoms 2’ that it services.

Cheongeum Server is a server with an AI-based operation assistance system, and is characterized by stably managing the economic flow and item supply structure within the server based on user play data.

This update is a large-scale content expansion based on this operating environment. The Nanman region is centered around the representative anecdote of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, ‘Seven Bells and Seven Legends,’ and in addition to the existing battle with Meng Huo, new bosses ‘Hwa Man’ and ‘Meng Woo’ were added, further enhancing the breadth of the battle experience.

In particular, the strategic play environment was strengthened by precisely adjusting the difficulty structure and battle balance based on user data, and the completeness of the content was improved.

Additionally, in order to improve the accessibility of content in the southern Manchurian region, which had high barriers to entry, an event system that reflects user play data was introduced. During the event period, it is designed so that the ‘Back Armor Set’ can be exchanged for ‘Maok’, alleviating the burden of growth and providing a broader user experience.

An official from ‘Online Romance of the Three Kingdoms 2’ said, “This update to the Namman region is an example of expanding the user experience on an AI-based operating environment,” and added, “We plan to continue to make balanced adjustments in the future to minimize the impact on siege taxes, corps operations, and the overall market economy within the server.”

He continued, “As we are preparing for an event commemorating the 100th day of the opening of the Cheongeum server in May, we will maintain a stable server environment so that everyone, not only current users but also new users coming in the future, can continue to have a positive playing experience.”
