The Korea Esports Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) is recruiting schools to participate in an educational program to revitalize school e-sports by May 1.

This project was designed to support the use of e-sports as an educational and leisure activity in schools. It was first implemented in 2025, and reflected opinions from the field that there were limits to securing expertise while teachers directly operated e-sports clubs or clubs on campus. As the association confirmed the demand for education and field response through operation at 19 schools last year, it will continue its business this year based on field-applicable curriculum and operation of professional instructors.

The training consists of a total of 20 hours (2 hours x 10 sessions) and focuses on two sports: League of Legends and Valorant.

The program is operated in two ways depending on the needs of each school:

▲ Professional Track: Training to improve performance and discover potential players for students aiming to participate in school leagues and various competitions

▲ Life Track: Focused on esports literacy education and knowledge education to spread healthy hobby activities

The educational content consists of ▲understanding of e-sports ▲training to improve sense of engagement ▲practical training for each event, and is operated as a practical program that can be used immediately at school.

During this year's selection process, the association plans to give priority to schools that have facilities dedicated to esports on campus or have a practice environment prepared in connection with an 'esports facility' designated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. This is to improve the quality of education by prioritizing the placement of professional instructors in sites with practical training environments and to encourage the establishment of e-sports infrastructure within schools.

Recruitment targets are middle and high schools across the country that are running or planning to create an esports club or club, and applications can be made on a school-by-school basis. Applications are made by the faculty member in charge submitting an application through the relevant website.

Through this project, the association hopes to form a healthy gaming culture among students and expand the base for the use of e-sports at school.

Schools wishing to participate can apply by May 1, and detailed information can be found on the official School Esports website and SNS channels.
